The team develops and maintains this product. Our team byline represents the publisher, not a named chartered accountant or a council officer. We use AI-assisted research and drafting, check sources and test product examples. We do not currently claim independent professional tax review of every guide.
How we check a claim
- Use the relevant council’s published scheme and current provider guidance for local rules.
- Use legislation and VisitScotland for the national framework, and a platform’s own documentation for its exports and collection features.
- Separate approved rules, consultation proposals and our product’s current capabilities.
